Irwin Broh Research recently conducted two studies regarding the interest in battery-powered outdoor power equipment; one among professional landscapers and the other among consumers who maintain their own lawn.
Just over one-third of the professionals reported they would consider battery-powered outdoor power equipment when making their next purchase. When then asked if they would consider anytime in the future, the percent increased to nearly half.
Among consumers who maintain their lawns, over half would consider battery-powered outdoor power equipment when making their next purchase. When then asked if they would consider anytime in the future, the percent increased to two-thirds.
